Where were you on this day 10 years ago? In June of 2000, I left Blacksburg, SC to move to The Netherlands. I was in class studying the Dutch language. When I arrived home, I got a telephone call to turn on the TV. I sat together with my husband, in The Netherlands and cried for my homeland and my family. I remember the feeling of horror and disbelief that such a brutal attack by terrorists had taken place on American soil. I still live in The Netherlands, but each year on September 11th, I proudly flay my American flag from the balcony of my Dutch apartment and on the Fourth of July. . I am a US citizen and love my homeland and my family that still reside there. It is my prayer that one day, America will once again be a country at peace and fee from the threat of war. To all those who lost their lives that day, I am truly sorry. To their families, my heart goes out to you. To those how risked their lives that day to save another, I honor you. America, the land of the free and the home of the brave. My homeland, my country. Long may Old Glory wave as a symbol of our freedom. My blood runs red, white and blue. I am proud to be an American.

Respect

Please help me and my daughter, Sara and others working to spread the word to everyone we can reach. This young 27 year old soldier and his family need our help.

Please help us help Bobby, as he now fights his battle no longer on the battlefield, but from his bed in Walter Reed Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland. He fought his battles in Iraq and Afghanstain not only for America, but for everyone who lives in a free country. Now it is our time to help Bobby fight his way back to health.

We can only do that by giving back to him a tiny party of what he has sacrificed for each of us. Please, won 't you help me and my daughter help Bobby?

As of last night, Bobby has been put back on the ventilator to help him breathe as an infection attacks his lungs making breathing on his own difficult and more stressful to his body.

Please help us by giving what you can. No amount is too small. Every donation is appreciated and brings hope to Bobby and his family.

Click on the link below and you will be directed to a safe, secure sight where you can make a donation.

Thank you!
