All Hallows Eve
All Hallows Eve beware, beware
Horror fills the cold, dark air
Ghosts and goblins lurking round
While skeletons rise from burial ground
Witches mount their brooms for flight
As Jack sends out his orange light
Headless horsemen ride the trail
Searching for the weak and frail
Fires burn with embers red
To warm the bones of long lost dead
Chains of ghouls clank on the floor
Empending horror, blood and gore
Wait outside the darkened door
All Hallows Eve arrives once more
Black green-eyed witches’ cats
Screeching swarms of rabid bats
Screams of horror fill the night
Creatures scurry left and right
Seeking shelter from the fright
Haunted houses, swirling leaves
Scaring those who will believe
The witching hour is drawing near
Time to face the things you fear
Bolt the door and hide the key
Better yet -- come guard ME!!
